Our Staff
All Little Peoples staff go through extensive background checks, have trained in early education and development, are Pediatric CPR and First-Aid certified, and continue their education yearly.
Keri is the owner and director of Little Peoples and has worked here for 13 years. Keri, her siblings, and all of her children have gone through the Little Peoples program since it began. In her free time Keri coaches two soccer teams locally and enjoys camping with her family.
Karel is Little People's head teacher who has taught the Pre-K class here for 39 years. Karel is passionate about teaching and bringing in nature, animals, and music into her teaching. She is also a mother of three, a rabbit 4H leader, and has a small farm that keeps her busy at home.
Megan has worked at Little Peoples for 9 years at our main center and previous afterschool centers. She is the current preschool teacher at Little Peoples. Her five children have gone through our program and she has loved seeing the same families over the years.
Saylor has 9 years of experience working with children and genuinely enjoys creating a positive, nurturing environment for them. Before moving to Oregon to be closer to family, she worked in childcare in Idaho, teaching and caring for pre-K children. She loves helping children learn, have fun, and feel safe, supported, and cared for each day. When she is not working you can usually find Saylor spending time with her nieces, going on hikes, and relaxing at home with family.
Jaedyn has a deep love for early childhood education. With 3 years of hands-on experience in childcare, she has developed a strong foundation in supporting young childrens growth. In her spare time Jaedyn likes to go to the river, snuggle with her dog and watch movies. She dreams to own an RV and travel the world.
Jamie is our sub teacher. She has been working with kids her whole career. She loves to interact, teach, and watch them excel. While home homeschooling her own four children she often took care of other children for military families. That desire to help children and families soon grew into owning her own in-home daycare for four years while stationed in North Carolina. When her husband retired from Coast Guard they decided to move back to Grants Pass.
Susie was the owner and director at Little Peoples for 27 years and is now a substitute here. She had the honor of teaching multiple generations including her own children and grandchildren. Over the years Susie has been a 4H leader, coach, and PTA president.
